What is a "Virtual Airline?  A Virtual Airline (aka "VA")  is an online organization of personal computer platform flight simulation enthusiates who fly with the personal computer software "Flight Simulator" by Microsoft and Jane's Combat Simulation USAF, who simulate flying as a real airline. This is done to increase the general enjoyment of the Microsoft FlightSimulator and/or JanesUSAF experience by creating a realistic purpose to fly around in the virtual world.  Anyone with Microsoft FlightSimulator and/or Jane's Combat Simulation USAF can apply for membership, and of course, membership is  free!

The 49thFW utilizes Jane's USAF as their sim and also deploys all the aircraft available to the sim

If this sounds good to you, the Virtual Air Mobility Command is the place for you! The VAMC uses MSFS98 and FS2000 as their sim of choice
