Atlantic Theater Campaign Medal

Awarded to an indiviual for participation in a campaign of a minimum of 3 months in duration in the Atlantic Theater.  This must included participating in all cycles, ACK all messages and completing a SITREP for each cycle of a campaign in a timely manner.

This medal is awarded for service in the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater between 7 Dec 41 and 8 Nov 45, under the same conditions described under those for the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal. The same also applies in awarding the Bronze Service Star and Arrowhead device.

The medal is 1 ¼ inches in diameter, depicting a landing scene beneath the words "European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign." The ribbon is principally dark green, edged with brown bands separated from the green by green, white, and red stripes on the left (wearer's right), and by white, black, and white stripes on the right (wearer's left). IN the center are equal blue, white, and red stripes. The blue stripe is worn to the wearer's right.
