Basic Military Training Graduate


Awarded for Completion of Indoctrination, to include 30 days TIS, participation in a minimum of two cycles with proper ACK and SitReps submitted in a timely manner.

Authorized by the Chief of Staff, U.S. Air Force on April 3, 1976, this ribbon is awarded to honor graduates of Basic Military Training who, after July 29, 1976, have demonstrated excellence in all phases of academic and military training and limited to the top 10 percent of the training flight. The USAF BMT Honor Graduate Ribbon was designed by the Institute of Heraldry, and is awarded to basic training graduates only.

The ribbon has a wide center stripe of ultramarine blue flanked with equal stripes of yellow, brittany blue and white on either side.
